Google Opens Up App Advertising
Google has a huge advertising platform but it is going to just keep on expanding. At Advertising Week in New York, Google announces two new ad products, which will eventually bring in more ad revenue and profitable income.
Google introduced their new app called “Customer Match” which is a new way for advertisers to reach out an audience in a larger number. When a customer signs in to Google with their email it allows companies to pick up on their spending habits and patterns, which in turn will allow them to market to each individual’s specific needs. Google has assured the privacy and security of their consumers, the email will be used with the consent of the consumer.
This feature is to help companies find “similar audiences” who share alike interests. Hence, the companies will be expanding their advertisements to those who are already interested in their product rather than someone new. This will allow advertisers to reach out to more people at once. This app will be launching in the next few weeks.
Google’s second product, to increase advertisement efficiency, is called “Universal App Campaigns.” This has been spoken about for a few months now but has come out working this last weekend. This has already been noticed on many websites and within apps that now direct you to the Play Store. These advertisements will be used amount Google Search, Google Play, YouTube, also the Google Display Network. This feature will expand throughout 2 million websites. Google plans to reach all of the billions of users of these websites with their new advertising features.
